History of MicroAge PEI
The first MicroAge in Prince Edward Island was opened on Grafton Street in
Charlottetown in 1985. It came after a series of market studies and dealership
surveys pointed out that Islanders were looking for a computer outlet which
ensured reputable products, reliable service and support.
Only three years later, the Charlottetown MicroAge was named the top outlet in
Eastern Canada. The owner, Harry O'Connell, maintains that overall customer
satisfaction built upon the response to individual service needs is the key
ingredient in fulfilling its mission to help people grow their business and
become more self-reliant.
Since 1985, MicroAge Charlottetown has grown from a modest business as computer
resellers into a key solution provider in the Prince Edward Island IT industry.
Today, with 18 years of technical and business innovation, MicroAge has a clear
definition of what it means to provide IT services and solutions that work for clients.
It's clear to MicroAge that success can only come when not just the goals but
