Microsoft Outlook is an e-mail system, right? More than that, it is a total office communications
solution when prepared properly by your MicroAge Technician.
Outlook includes an address book, like most mail clients, but it also contains a feature called
"Rolodex?" The Rolodex contains both a personal and a global address book. The personal
address book is accessible by the user alone; everyone in the firm can access the global
one. To retrieve this information, you would just open the Rolodex, click on the first letter
of the name and search alphabetically for the contact.
Besides sending e-mails and retrieving client information, you can schedule appointments with
employees, call meetings, assign tasks and refer to employee's schedules to see if they are available.
As well your incoming fax messages and internal phone mail can be integrated into the one
screen within Outlook for easy viewing of all communications.
All of the information can be sent throughout your local area network (NT or Novell) and
out to the Internet to remote employees or clients.

The MicroAge Technical Services Group consists of the Hardware Services Team
and the Network Services Team. Our Hardware Services
technicians are highly skilled in all aspects of hardware troubleshooting and
support as well as the configuring, installing and repairing of systems. Our
Network Services Team is responsible for all aspects of network design and
support from network assessments to complex installations such as firewalls,
VPN’s and wireless connectivity. Members of our Network Services Team possess
certifications in a diverse range of technologies as well as the network
operating systems from Microsoft and Novell at the engineer level.
